I finally finished restoring the Hi-Low table that
came with the boat. At first sight, I thought it was a piece
of junk. It looked terrible. The casters had been removed and
had been replaced with pieces of untreated 2"x2" fir to
raise it up a little further. And, it almost looked as if
it had been used to cut fishing bait on! Well, a few weeks
of dedicated restoration, lots of staining, new hardware,
and new furniture legs with rubber feet, I'd say it looks
pretty darn good now. It can be used as a coffee table,
or can be raised to 29" for fine dining on the Sailish Sea!
