Everything on this boat seems it is near failure. Well, almost everything.
After cleaning a healthy amount of dirty dishes in the galley sink, it was time to
drain the water and rinse. I pulled the sink plug and what to my surprise, I heard
water gushing out and pouring all over the floor in the galley! Turned out the 2"
drain hose became decoupled from the sink drain flange and drained the sink
water underneath! But wait, what sink drain flange? There was no flange! So,
off to Ace Hardware to purchase some sort of coupling that I could secure the
hose to. Back from the store, I was able to clean things up and install the new
coupling and reconnect the hose. After all that, I was finally able to finish the
dishes and move on.
